ATEEDA wins coveted John Logie Baird Award

David Hamilton, ATEEDA's CEO, collects John Logie Baird Awards Knowledge Transfer Champion trophy after keynote speech from television-inventor's son Malcolm Baird.

ATEEDA, the world leader in digital testing of analog semiconductor circuits was recognised at a ceremony where successful entrepreneur, EDA expert, and more recently TV celebrity, Doug Richards gave the keynote speech.

After a keynote speech by Professor Malcolm Baird, son of the inventor of the world's first television, John Logie Baird, ATEEDA's CEO, David Hamilton received the award of Knowledge Transfer Champion from Peter Shakeshaft, chairman of Linc. Afterwards Hamilton commented "Our technology, OptimATE solves a large, expensive industry problem by greatly reducing test costs during manufacturing of electronic chips. The underlying technology started as a scribble on a beer mat, turned into a researcher's PhD project and 8 years later is solving real production problems."
