Principal Analog Design Engineer

Job Summary

Principal analog design engineer with high clock rate needed to join friendly, multidisciplinary team with global profile in Central Edinburgh. Excess of 5 years CMOS analog design experience in low voltage, high speed, convertors at leading edge nodes.

Job Description

We are a venture funded IP and EDA company based in the heart of Edinburgh. Our innovative Pushbutton BIST products cut manufacturing test costs for leading global IDM and Fabless corporations.

  • You will almost certainly have more than 5 years CMOS analog IC design experience.
  • You will be relaxed dealing with all aspects of the development process from innovative concepts through to physical implementation.
  • Ideally you will be experienced in several areas from: low voltage, low leakage, switched cap, high speed, DACs and ADCs preferably including use of leading edge technology nodes (sub 65nm).

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team and be able to make a material contribution to the company's success.

Job Description

Experienced ASIC/ Digital Design engineer required to join friendly multidisciplinary team on mixed signal IP tied to world leading EDA tool for Pushbutton Analog Built-in Self-Test.

Must have 5 years + in:

  • Verilog
  • ASIC/FPGA
  • Verification
  • Synthesis
  • Scripting
  • Backend digital ASIC experience

Knowledge in the following areas would be a bonus:

  • Analog/mixed signal experience
  • ADC/DAC
  • VHDL
  • SystemVerilog, SystemC, C++
